What is IDEA Labs?

A collaboration of faculty, medical, and engineering students

Teams design solutions for problems in clinical medicine and healthcare delivery

Our second year is currently under way. Problems were presented by faculty on October 11th and teams will have until the first design review on November 19 to choose which problem they will be working on. For a more detailed timeline see the participant resources page.

Why participate?

Past teams have gone from concept to functional prototype within 1 semester

Faculty have an opportunity to mentor an interdisciplinary team of students

Design solutions to important medical problems

How can you get involved?

CLINICIANS: Click here to submit your clinical problem(s).

We accept problem suggestions year 'round. We are currently accepting problem submissions for the 2014 cycle.

STUDENTS: Click here to participate

Students interested in participating may still apply to join teams in the current cycle if space allows. Otherwise applications will be considered for our next cycle.
